Key Capabilities
- PEBAX, PA, TPU, FEP, and other medical polymers can be processed into micro tubing.
- Typical products include fine guidewire coatings, balloon catheters, and other ultra-small medical tubes that require precise dimensions.
- For closer control of the tubing size, the medical tubing extrusion line can be equipped with optional melt metering pump, ultrasonic wall-thickness measurement system, and diameter gauge. Real-time measurement feedback keeps the outer diameter and wall thickness consistent.
- The extrusion line’s design, manufacture, and operation follow the requirements of GMP-certified production areas.
- The screw and barrel are manufactured with 38CrMoAlA nitrided steel, while the die head is made from corrosion-resistant S136 mirror-finish mold steel.
- Temperature accuracy reaches ±0.5°C, and the finished tubing has an outer-diameter tolerance of ±0.05 mm.
