Key Capabilities
- Suitable for various types of medical grade material, including PVC, light-blocking PVC, TPU, and TPE, covering finished tube diameters from 1.5 to 20 mm.
- The extrusion line can be equipped with a special extrusion die to produce double-layer drip chambers with a flat opening and a 20 mm outer diameter. The inner layer is approximately 0.20–0.25 mm thick, while the outer layer is 0.65–0.70 mm thick.
- Two, three, or additional layers can be combined in the same product to block light, increase strength, or provide other functions required by the application.
- Medical cleanroom requirements are followed throughout the design, manufacturing, and operation of medical tubing extrusion lines.
- Process temperature can be control within ±0.5°C, while outer-diameter variation is limited to ±0.05 mm.
- The main extrusion components are made from materials selected for durability and clean processing, such as 38CrMoAlA nitrided steel for the screw and barrel, and corrosion-resistant S136 mirror-finish mold steel for the die head.
